This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

And he said, "The Lord has come from Sinai
and from Seir he sprung up for us

Moses commanded us a law

This is the blessing of Judas: Hear, O Lord, the voice of Judas,

and he shall be full of the blessings of the Lord
he shall possess the sea and the south.]

And to Aser he said: Blessed be among the sons of Aser,
be pleasing to his brothers
and dip his foot in oil

his shoes shall be iron and brass.
As the days of your youth, so also your old age.

There is no other god like the god of the right
He who rides on the heavens is your helper.
The magnificence of the clouds

his dwelling-place
and under the everlasting arms
he will cast out the enemy before you
and he shall say: Destroy.

Israel shall dwell in safety, and alone.
The eye of Jacob in the land of corn and wine
drop down the dew.

Blessed are you, Israel
Who is like you, people who are saved by the Lord?
Shield of help
and the sword of your glory
