But if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God, and keep all his commandments which I command you today, then the LORD your God will make you higher than all the nations that live in the earth.

And all these blessings shall come upon you, and overtake you: if only you will obey his commandments.

Blessed art thou in the city, and blessed in the field.

Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle, the flocks of your herds, and the flocks of your sheep.

Blessed shall be your barns and your store-houses.

You will be blessed when you go in and out.

The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be fallen before you: they shall come against you one way, and flee before you by seven ways.

The Lord will send a blessing upon your storerooms and on all the works of your hands, and he will bless you in the land that you have received.

The Lord will raise you up to be a holy people to him, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways.

And all the peoples of the lands shall see that the name of the Lord is invoked on you, and they will fear you.

The Lord will make you abound with all the good things, the fruit of your body, the fruit of your cattle, the fruit of your land, which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to you.

The Lord will open his excellent treasure, the heaven, to give rain in due season: and he will bless all the works of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, and you shall borrow from none.

The Lord will make you head and not a tail, and you will be always above and not beneath.

and do not turn aside from them, neither to the right, nor to the left, nor follow other gods, nor serve them.

But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe and do all his commandments and his statutes, which I command you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.

You will be cursed in the city, you will be cursed in the country.

Cursed is your barn, and your barn is cursed.

Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, the herd of your oxen, and the flocks of your sheep.

You will be cursed when you come in, and you will be cursed when you go out.

The Lord will send over you famine and hunger, and a rebuke against all your works which you shall do, until he destroy you, and destroy you quickly, because of your very wicked doings, by which you have forsaken me.

The Lord shall cling to you the pestilence, until it has consumed you from the land into which you are going to possess it.

The Lord will smite you with poverty, fever, and cold, heat and heat, and corrupted air and mildew, and will chase you until you are destroyed.

May the heaven which is above you be of brass, and the earth that you are treading on iron.

Take a wife, and let another sleep with her. You build a house, and you don't live in it. You shall plant a vineyard, but you shall not gather the grapes.

Your sons and your daughters shall be delivered to another people, when your eyes see it, and they faint before their eyes all the day long, and there is no strength in your hand.

Let the people whom you know not eat the fruit of your land, and all your labors; and be always oppressed and oppressed forever,

You shall have olive trees in all your borders, and you shall not anoint yourself with oil;

You shall beget sons and daughters, and you shall not enjoy them: for they shall be led into captivity.

The mildew will consume all your trees and the fruits of your ground.

And all these curses shall come upon you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, nor did you keep his commandments and the ceremonies which he commanded you.

And there shall be signs and wonders in you, and in your seed forever:

because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, because of the abundance of all things.

You shall serve your enemy, whom the Lord will send to you in hunger, and thirst, and nakedness, and in all kinds of want: and he will put an iron yoke upon your neck, till he destroy you.

The Lord will bring upon you a nation from afar, and from the ends of the earth, like an eagle soaring with force, whose tongue you cannot understand:

a most stubborn nation, which does not respect the old man, nor has pity on the children,

and shall eat up the fruit of your cattle, and the fruits of your land, until you are destroyed, and not leave you wheat, wine, and oil, the herds of oxen and your flocks of sheep, until he has destroyed you,

And he will destroy all your cities, and your strong and high walls in which you trusted should come down in all your land. And you shall besiege it within your gates, in all your land, which the LORD your God will give you.

and you shall eat the fruit of your body, and the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, which the Lord your God shall give you in the distress and devastation with which your enemy shall overwhelm you.

A nice man in you and a very pampered man will envy his brother and his wife who lies in her bosom,

lest he give them of the flesh of his sons, which he shall eat: because he had nothing else in the siege and the scarcity with which your enemies shall have devastated you within all your gates.

A tender and delicate woman, who could not walk upon the earth, nor did she trace a foot, because of the softness and the great tenderness, she will envy her husband, who lies in her bosom, above the flesh of son and daughter

and the muck of the understudies, which come forth from between her thighs, and upon the children who were born the same hour. For they will eat them secretly, on account of the scarcity of all things, in the siege and devastation with which your enemy shall overwhelm you within your gates.

Unless you observe and do all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not fear his glorious and terrible name, that is, the Lord your God:

the Lord will increase your wounds, and the plagues of your seed, great and lasting plagues, most grievous and perpetual diseases.

And he will bring back on you all the afflictions of Egypt which you were afraid of, and they will cling to you.

Moreover, the Lord will bring on you all the diseases and plagues that are not written in the book of this law.

and you shall be left few in number, who before were as the stars of the sky for multitude, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

And as the Lord has rejoiced over you before doing good to you, and multiplying you, so will he rejoice in destroying and renting you, that you will be taken away from the land into which you are going to possess.

The Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth even to the other, and there you will serve other gods, wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers knew.

And among those nations you shall not rest, nor shall there be any rest for the sole of your foot. For the Lord will give you there a trembling heart, and failing eyes, and pining of soul:

and your life will be as it were hanging before you. You will be afraid night and day, and you will not trust your life.

In the morning you will say, "Oh that evening!" and in the evening: Who would give me morning? for the fear of your heart, with which you will be terrified, and for the sight of your eyes.

The Lord will bring you back to Egypt by the way of ships, of which he told you that you should not see her again. There you shall sell to your enemies male and female slaves, and there will be no one to buy you.
