You shall not see your brother's ox or your sheep going astray, and you shall pass by, but you shall return to your brother, even if he is not your brother's kinsman, and you do not know him, guide him into your house, and they will be with you as long as your brother seeks them and receives them. You shall do the same with your ass, and your clothing, and all your brother's business that is lost; if you find it, do not neglect it like someone else's. If you see your brother's donkey or ox fall down the road, do not ignore it, but you will surely help it. A woman shall not wear a man's clothing, nor shall a man wear a woman's clothing: for he that does these things is abominable to God. If you walk by the way, you will find a bird's nest on a tree or on the ground, and the mother of the young or the eggs lay over her; but you will allow them to depart, holding the children captive, that it may be well with you, and may live a long time. When you build a new house, you shall make a rooftop wall on every side, lest blood shed in your house, and you shall be in danger of falling, and of another falling headlong. You shall not sow your vineyard with another seed; You shall not plow with an ox and an ass together. You shall not wear a garment woven of wool and linen. You shall make cords for the hem at the four corners of your skirt with which you cover yourself. If a man marries a wife and hates her and he inquires of the occasions by which he releases her, and accuses her of an evil name, and says, I have taken this wife, and going in to her have not found a virgin. her father and her mother shall take her, and bring with them the signs of her virginity to the elders of the city who are at the gate. and the father will say, "I gave my daughter to him to wife, because he hates it he gives her a very bad name to say, 'I have not found your daughter a virgin; and, behold, these are the signs of my daughter's virginity.' They shall spread the garment before the elders of the city the elders of that city shall lay hold of the man and whip him fine also a hundred shekels of silver, which he shall give to the father of the girl, because he hath defamed an evil name upon the virgin of Israel: and shall have her to wife, and shall not be able to divorce her all the days of her life. If it is true that he objected, and there is no virginity in the girl found they shall cast her out of the door of her father's house, and the men of that city shall stone her, and shall die: because she did a heinous crime in Israel, to commit fornication in her father's house: and thou shalt put away evil from among thee. If the man shall lie with the wife of the other, both of them shall die, that is, the adulterer and the adulterer: and you shall take away the evil from Israel. If a man espouses a virgin girl, and someone finds her in the city, and has sex with her, thou shalt bring them both to the gate of that city, and they shall be stoned to death: the girl, because she cried not while she was in the city: the man, because he humbled his neighbor's wife: and thou shalt put away evil from among thee. But if the man finds in the field the girl who is engaged to take him, and lays down with her, he shall die alone: The girl shall suffer nothing, nor is she guilty of death: for as a robber rises up against his brother and slays his soul, so the girl has to endure. She was alone in the field: she cried, and there was none to deliver her. If a man finds a virgin girl who has no bridegroom, and takes him, and has sex with her, and the matter comes to judgment: He that lay with her shall give to the father of the damsel fifty sicles of silver, and shall have her to wife, because he humbled her: she shall not be able to put her away all the days of her life. A man shall not take his father's wife, neither shall he disclose his covering.
